A ce moment l\u00e0, la France avait un dense tissu de r\u00e9seau chemins de fer secondaires \u00e0 voies  \u00e9troites, l\u2019un des plus sc\u00e9niques se trouvant sur le r\u00e9seau Sud-France, le long de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur entre Toulon et Fr\u00e8jus. Ce train entre en gare de La Croix, la ville connue aujourd\u2019hui sous le nom de La Croix Valmer.
